könnt ihr uns in unserem Häuschen antreffen. Zum Glück kann man jetzt übernachten und verliert nicht so viel Zeit. Trotz der vielen Arbeit ist es irgendwie wie Urlaub.
Da am Dienstag endlich die neue Haustüre kommt, mußten wir noch etwas Platz schaffen. Bei der Gelegenheit haben wir die tollen alten Steine entdeckt, die wir, wenn möglich, sichtbar lassen wollen. Mal sehen, Männe hat bestimmt eine tolle Idee dazu "freu".

On Tuesday we finally and hopefully get our new front door, so there was the need to make some space for it, and see what we we found: the real walls. Made out of old brick stone and if it works out, we leave them visible. Let´s see what idea Bob the builder(Gunther) has for them.
Auch das Flurfenster mußte ausgetauscht werden. Da das alte nicht zum öffnen war und eine ziemliche Kältebrücke vorhanden war. Gunther hat das Fenster ausgetauscht und bei der Gelegenheit den ganzen alten Rigips entfernt. Wir haben sowieso einiges von den Wänden gerissen und es ist kaum zu fassen, der Geruch im Eingangsbereich ist schon viel besser.
Also the window in the hallway had to be replaced. The old one was not to open and always a bridge to the cold outside. Gunther has replaced it and also removed the old wall covers, and believe me, it was a lot of trash coming from these walls. The smellinstanly gets better when the trash was out.
Der Rundbogen wird bestimmt ein Hingucker. Mal sehen, ich laß mich überraschen.
The round arch is for sure getting an eyecatcher. Let´s see.
so sieht das Fenster von außen jetzt aus. Verputzt hat er auch noch am gleichen Tag.
