Es geht weiter... - The work goes on...

Das provisorische Vordach aus Plastik musste nun dem selbstgemachten aus Edelstahl weichen.
Es ist etwas größer und es fehlen noch die Schindeln oben drauf sowie die Beleuchtung darunter.
The provisorily porch roof is gone and the new which I built on my own out of stainless steel is mounted. The tiles on top are still missing, also the lights under it.

Das dach benötigte neue Ortgangbleche. Eine Seite ist nun fertig.
Material ist pulverbeschichtetes Aluminium.
The roof needed new vergeboards.
One side is now ready made with powder coated aluminum.

Habe fertig: Küche off the checklist: kitchen

Total vergessen:
Die letzte Baustelle in der Küche ist auch fertig!!
Eigentlich wollte ich die Abzugshaube in die Decke bauen
und die Luft nach draussen leiten,
doch unser Heizungsbauer hat uns abgeraten,
da die Heizung in der Küche steht.
Also dann die Alternative: Aufbauen und Umluft. Habe fertig.

Totally forgotten: the last building site in the kitchen is gone!!!
Normally the exhaust hood should be in the ceiling, but our heating engineer told us not to pull out the inside air to the outside, because the heating is in the kitchen positioned.
Ok, than plan B: construction for circulating air. Done.

Vordach bauen- built a porch roof

Und wieder ein Stück mehr:
Das mir wichtige Vordach im Hof ist in den letzten Tagen realisiert worden.
Natürlich selbst gemacht! Nachdem der Schutt aus dem hof ist, war das endlich möglich.
Hier ein Bild im Bau. Unterkonstruktion ist Edelstahl.

The for me important porch roof is realised. Hand made from me for sure.
After the trash is gone from the courtyard it was now possible to built it. Here some pictures of the building activity. The construction is made of stainless steel.

Rechts und Links natürlich sauber abgedichtet mit Bleiblech.
Left and right clean sealed with sheet lead.

Die Ziegel hat uns einer der freundlichen Nachbarn "gespendet".

Und nachdem es fertig war gleich mal an einem doch wieder schönen
Spätsommerabend ein Gläschen Rotwein genossen.

Nebenbei wurde auch am Pergoladach vorne eine Regenrinne montiert und die zu weit überstehenden Ziegel durch Wellblech ersetzt.
Das neue Vordach für die Eingangstüre ist auch fertig aber noch nicht montiert.
Das muss warten bis wir von unserem USA trip zurück sind.
Bis in ein paar Wochen wieder.

Along the way the roof of the pergola has a drain now and the way to wide outstanding last roof tiles were replaced by corrugated iron sheets.
The new porch roof for the main entrance is also ready but not fixed.
That will happen after our trip to the US.

... ein großer Stein ...

schaut mal ... nun geht es auch draußen mit kleinen großen Schritten voran "freu".
Have a look...now it is going forward with big steps in the courtyard.

Sieht der Hof nicht riesig aus?

Wahnsinn, wieviel Platz der Bauschutz genommen hat.

Im nächsten Frühjahr kann es also draußen weitergehen und den Sommer werden wir dann vielleicht schon in unserem Gärtchen verbringen :-)
Doesn´t the courtyard looks huge?
It is amazing how much space the waste has covered.
We can go on working on the outside next spring and who knows, probably we can enjoy the summer in our courtyard and garden ;-)

Small things makes it!

Nach langer Zeit nun mal wieder etwas neues vom Knusperhäuschen:

After a long time without anything new, here are the latest news:
A lot of small things and also one of my favourite projects.


Der Ausgang zum Hof wurde endlich fertiggestellt.
The entrance to the courtyard was finally finished.

Die Wasserverteilung mit Zisternenanschluss komplett neu gemacht
The watersystem with connection to the cistern was completely renewed.


Und einer meiner Lieblingsprojekte: selbstgebaute Fensterläden für das Fenster des
zukünftigen Bades. Sieht das nicht toll aus mit dem Wein drumherum?
And one of my favourite projects: hand made window shutters for the window of the future bathroom. Doesn´t this look great with the wild wine around?

♥ und wieder ein Stück weiter ... ♥

So, endlich mal wieder was von unserem Häuschen. Heute haben wir uns vorgenommen, eine Wand im UG rauszureißen. Eine ganz schön staubige Angelegenheit.
And here are some news again, after a long time. Tiday we removed a really old wall in the basement. You can see how dusty it is!!

Hier sind wir jetzt schon ein ganzes Stück weiter.

Kaum zu glauben, das nur eine Wand auf diesem Hänger liegt. Wir waren ganz schön im Eimer, kann ich euch sagen.

It is unbelievable that it is only one wall on the trailer. We were done afterwards, thats what I can tell you.

Am Ende des Vormittags sah unser Eingang dann schon so aus. Wahnsinn, wieviel Platz wir gewonnen haben. Aber da muss natürlich wieder eine Wand rein.
Around noon the basement with the entrance looked like this. Crazy how much space we have now. But a new wall is coming.

So, Chaos wieder einräumen und dann gings ab nach Hause.

At the end: remove the chaos and straight back home.

Mal wieder müssen wir uns bei unserer Tochter Nina und Laurens bedanken. Wenn wir euch nicht hätten.
Again we have to thank our daughter Nina(This is Tanjas idea to thank her, I pay her bills so I will not do so!) and our special friend Laurens. What should we do without you?!
